4. Our Vision: The 'Next Big Thing'
Our vision is that this book is "the next big thing" (an
atomic love story) as diametrically opposed to current titles in all categories
that are heavily invested in vulgarity, violence, and/or explicit sex, all too
often with stereotypical characters, implausible situations, and unsatisfying
resolutions that leave readers disappointed.
This novel specifically and triumphantly does not have any of these. Importantly,
please note that it is not faith based but entirely secular. It is a melodrama,
in the true Aristotelian sense, because—although there is a heavy
cry-factor for the average sensitive, tender female reader—the ending rises
beyond the initial tragedy that the female lead, Marian Charles, is a beautiful
and shattered young war widow.
